Pastor's Message

Pastor Manweiler

If you are not a member of a local Christian congregation, we invite you to come and see if Trinity Lutheran might be your church home.  Please feel free to call with questions and needs. We will welcome the opportunity to serve you - and to serve with you.

As Shepherd of the Sheep, I desire to serve this congregation with the comforting message that is intended for all people. If you have any need, please feel free to contact me.

Trinity, a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, is committed to the confession of the historic church. Both our worship style and teachings can be summarized as follows: Scripture alone, Grace alone, Faith alone. Though we remain sinners in a sinful world, we trust God's Word. It declares us saints, covered by Christ's sinlessness, and opens heaven for everyone of us.

As Lutherans, we confess without hesitation the three creeds that Christians have accepted for almost two thousand years. These creeds proclaim God as Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - three persons in one God. God is our Creator, Redeemer, and Faith-giver. He cares for us always, offers salvation from sin and death daily, and helps us to believe it all! We are kept in the faith by God's unchanging inerrant Word written for us in the Bible, and by His gifts of Baptism and Communion. Our understanding of Scripture is set forth in the Book of Concord and summarized in a Small Catechism for instruction and review.

Martin Luther, a monk in sixteenth century Germany, rediscovered the Bible. It had been neglected for centuries. We continue to preach and teach the simplicity of God's grace in Jesus Christ restored through that humble reformer... We take the truth of God very seriously.
